My cellar fan runs constantly, is that correct?
A. Yes it should to keep an even temperature.
How much is a new cooling system?
A. From around £72 per month or £1790 to buy for cellar size 3m x 4m
My cooler is iced up and room isn’t cold, what’s the problem?
A. Firstly switch the system off to ensure ice defrosts and saves damage to the units. Call us once ice has melted as it may need a new electronic controller or thermostat.
How often does my cooler need servicing?
A. At least once per year, maybe twice if below ground cellar. We offer routine servicing or maintenance contracts as required.
Can anyone service my refrigeration?
No. Its illegal and dangerous and must be serviced by F Gas company, our reg No.REF1020627
How long does it take to cool my beer casks?
From a new hot day brewery delivery it can take 48 hours to cool down to 12C
My cellar is now too big, can I reduce the size cheaply?
Yes! we suggest a row of strip curtains to divide the room, we make to order from just £125 per metre with stainless rail, much cheaper and quicker than any other option.
Is there a small compact cellar unit that's cheap?
Yes, the Slimline cellar cooler designed by our engineers, very quiet and compact and you'll be pleased to know about 20% cheaper!
My cellar temperature has gone up!
This could be due to a number of issues, including low refrigerant gas level, a malfunctioning thermostat, or a faulty compressor. Cellars typically range between 11-13°C, so if it increases above this, there may be an issue. Unusual sounds can indicate a defect within the system.
The cooler fan is noisy or vibrating?
